The rustic prairie gown from the early 70's, has been all polished up for the big city. Very feminine gown is lavished with pearl-studded lace, it's open-work resting most prettily around the neckline. The layered skirt of sharp crystal pleats over ruffled chiffon is very full and moves so gracefully! In near-mint vintage condition, the gown is lined with net and taffeta and fastens with it's original coil zipper. Also in the Victorian section.

This 24k pairing for your own Breakfast at Tiffany's moment comes from a smart Manhattan boutique of the era. Though not "made to match," the cape and mini-dress are a perfect union.

The dress is of lustrous shantung silk (do they make this any more?) in a sparkling shade of pale golden champagne. The ever-so-slightly gored lower portion of the skirt is accented with a self bow caught in the center by a dome of sparkly AB iridescent rhinestones. Beautifully made and tailored and absolutely Mint!

The cape is an arc (With arm slits) of tone-on-tone champagne houndstooth, very chic, accented with plump pearls and rhinestones against an antique gold gimp. Likely made of a rayon blend, the cape is also in prime vintage condition, approx. 44" wide across the shoulders and 33" long. Wouldn't this ensemble be complete with black shoes, accessories and black bracelet-length gloves?

This charming 60's gown is redolent with Victorian romance. Beautifully made with a rich satin underlayer that gleams through the chiffon. The satin is of the finest quality - much better than most of this era when the gorgeous slipper satins were swiftly disappearing from the marketplace. Delicate lace is enhanced by a scattering of handsewn pearls - a subtle and very pretty embellishment that almost looks like fairy dust. Tiny accordian pleats finish the train and the romantic sleeves complete the look. A fine gown beautifully made.

Stunning Camelot gown by Emma Domb, one of the best American design houses of the era. Gown has all the sleek sophistication of Jackie Kennedy with gorgeous back detail of deep cascades that give it a touch of antique Edwardian glamor as well. Gown is made of rich fabric with a touch of gleam - possibly a silk/linen broadcloth, heavy textured lace trims the back tiers giving them an exquisite finish. Excellent, virtually mint condition, with the fine construction details and quality Domb was famous for.
