The rustic prairie gown from the early 70's, has been all polished up for the big city. Very feminine gown is lavished with pearl-studded lace, it's open-work resting most prettily around the neckline. The layered skirt of sharp crystal pleats over ruffled chiffon is very full and moves so gracefully! In near-mint vintage condition, the gown is lined with net and taffeta and fastens with it's original coil zipper. Also in the 1960's section.

The heaviest, richest glowing satin ever in this fabulous gown from the post-war 40's. What a beauty! Shown with a hoop petticoat that is a little shorter than the gown, a more bell shape could be accomplished with a hoops that go all the way to the edge of the dress. Made for a tall slim girl - up to 6ft - if you're shorter, gown will need hemming. Shirred sleeves will set off the arms most deliciously! This gown is of the highest quality - Breathtaking indeed! Does remind me of a classic photo of Ms. Monroe - included here. Also displayed in the Neo-Victorian section as it evokes the drama of the Belle Epoche.

Charming little gown evokes all the romance of a Jane Austen novel. Delicately puffed and gathered sleeves are so feminine and sweet! Would be wonderful with little kid or satin slippers. Wear your hair piled up with flowers entwined, or opt for a chapel-length veil for more formality and "presence." Cotton lace is heavily lined for body. Back metal zipper, flowers over white ribbon accent the empire waist. For the shorter bride - 5' to 5'3." Depending on your height and the height of your shoes, can be worn floor-length or ankle length as was the fashion in the 1820s. Also listed under 1960s gowns. [6007]
